Built Around How You Actually Use Your Truck

Airplex designs tonneau covers for people who load, haul, and drive their truck beds hard — not for a showroom floor. Here’s what that means for the way we build.

We Started With a Fitment Problem

Most tonneau covers on the market are sold as a “universal” fit and then require a weekend of shimming, drilling, and re-sealing to actually sit right. Airplex takes the opposite approach: every cover is built and listed against a specific truck make, model, and bed length, so the rail clamps, latch points, and panel dimensions match your truck out of the box.

That fitment-first mindset runs through everything else we build — if it doesn’t seal tight and mount clean without modification, it doesn’t ship.

Five Styles, One Standard

Hard folding, soft roll-up, retractable, low profile, and hinged — each style solves a different problem, whether that’s maximum security, minimum weight, full-bed access, or a flush factory look. What doesn’t change between them is our standard for materials: UV-stable panels, marine-grade vinyl, corrosion-resistant hardware, and EPDM rubber seals built to hold up through repeated hot and cold cycles.

No-Drill, One-Person Installs

We design every cover around a rail-clamp mounting system so it can go on without drilling into your bed or voiding a factory finish. Most owners install an Airplex cover solo, with basic hand tools, in under an hour — and can take it back off just as easily if the truck ever changes hands.

Built to Look Right on Your Truck, Not Just Fit It

A tonneau cover sits on your truck every day, so we design for how it looks as much as how it seals. Our low profile covers sit flush below the bed rail for a clean, factory-integrated line, and our hinged covers use a single load-rated panel instead of visible fold seams — both styles are built for owners who want the security of a hard cover without it looking bolted on.

Common Questions About Airplex

A few things people usually want to know before their first order.

How do I know which cover style is right for my truck?

It comes down to how you use the bed. If you need maximum security and a load-rated surface, hard folding is the strongest choice. If you need to remove the cover entirely for big loads, soft roll-up is the lightest. If you want full access without ever taking the cover off, retractable does that. Low profile and hinged covers both prioritize a clean, factory look.

Do you make covers for trucks outside your current lineup?

We’re steadily adding fitments. If your truck and bed length aren’t listed yet, reach out through our Contact page and we’ll let you know if a fitment is in progress.

Are Airplex covers sold anywhere besides this site?

All Airplex covers ship and fulfill through Amazon. Every product page on this site links directly to the listing for your exact truck and bed length.

What We Stand For

A short list of the things we won’t compromise on, no matter which cover style you’re looking at.

Fitment Over Guesswork

Every product is organized by truck make and exact bed length first — never a one-size-fits-all listing that leaves the fitment up to chance.

Materials That Hold Up

UV-stable composites, marine-grade vinyl, and corrosion-resistant hardware are the baseline, not an upgrade option.

Installs You Can Actually Finish

No-drill rail-clamp mounting means a cover goes on in an afternoon, by one person, with tools you already own.

Parts, Not Just Products

Seals, latches, and mounting hardware are stocked separately, so a worn part doesn’t mean replacing the whole cover.

Straight Answers on Fit

If your truck isn’t a confirmed fit for a given cover, we’d rather tell you that up front than sell you something that won’t seal right.

Built for Real Loads

Hard, low profile, and hinged panels are rated to support distributed static weight — because a truck bed is meant to be used, not just covered.
